The ride continues a couple of miles up the Wallowa, then reverses direction for the return to Elgin. The Two Rivers ride is our standard trip, and the scenery is fantastic! A delicious, boxed lunch is included and served along the way. Departs from Elgin 10:00 a.m., returning at about 1:30 p.m. 38 miles traveled, round trip. TWO RIVERS BONUS RIDE - JUNE 29th

Designed for rail fans, this longer train ride follows the Grande Ronde River from Elgin to Rondowa, then travels up the Wild & Scenic Wallowa River to Minam, where you have the chance to stretch your legs before the return to Elgin. Enjoy the beautiful scenery during this 6-hour ride. Departs at 10:00 a.m.; boxed lunch, snack and beverage included. 52 miles traveled, round trip. Seasonal short - July 27th

This ride is perfect for families or people who want to pack a lot into their day. The rushing river, lush green grass and flowers are highlights as we travel along the Grande Ronde River. We’ll stop at the historic Palmer Junction mill site, where passengers can get off the train, enjoy the river and relish in the beautiful scenery. Lunch is served when you return to your seats. About 25 miles, round trip. Departs at 10:00 a.m. and returns at 1:00 p.m.
Adults = $70 / Seniors 60+ = $65 / Youth, 3 to 16 = $35 (kids under 3 ride for free!) Find out more here.

We will head back to Walla Walla via Tollgate, with a stop at the Outpost. You may elect to have an early dinner here or just browse around before we head down the mountain for home. We have not taken this ride, but hear it is absolutely a beautiful trek.
